Miguel S. Romero is a filmmaker, writer, and photographer. His passion for art and storytelling began as a child making short stop motion videos and watching movies of all sorts of genres and styles. His photography work mainly consists of documentary, street, photojournalist, and event photography.

His creative endeavors have taken him to more surreal, fantastical routes, exploring works evocative of magical realism. Consequently, his keen love to travel has inspired him to also document the world around him, addressing both the beauty of our world just as much as the issues surrounding our society. It has also allowed him to break out of his shell and meet other people with diverse backgrounds and stories.

Creativity is a key aspect of his identity. Whether it’s for a personal or commercial project, he is always looking for new and inspiring ways to tell stories. He finds joy and intrigue in both the artistic side of creating just as much as the technical side of things. He likes to take his camera with him wherever he goes. Even if it’s a simple hangout with friends or family, his camera(s) is always there alongside him in case that perfect moment arises.

On his spare time, he goes on photo walks, watches movies, and learns languages on Duolingo. He is a coffee aficionado and loves to eat salmon.

He is currently in post-production for his upcoming film, Polaroid, starring Victor Adams and Shirley Kim Nguyen.
